Copyright / DMCA Policy
Effective date: July 27, 2026
Dateagent respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to do the same. Users may only upload photos and content they own or have the right to use (Terms of Service §7; Community Guidelines §1).
1. Reporting copyright infringement (DMCA notice)
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) to our Copyright Agent:
Copyright Agent — Dateagent
Email: [email protected] (subject "DMCA Notice")
Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g., the invitation link or username);
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Misrepresenting that material is infringing can expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).
2. What we do with valid notices
We will remove or disable access to the identified material promptly, notify the user who posted it, and provide them a copy of the notice.
3. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent above including: your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief the removal was a mistake; your name, address, and phone number; and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Dateagent may be found) and to accept service from the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.
4. Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights, and we may terminate for a single egregious infringement.
5. Trademarks
"Dateagent" and our logos are trademarks of Dateagent. To report trademark abuse (e.g., impersonation of a brand), email [email protected] (subject "Trademark").
